HEAD OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING (M/F/D)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will design and implement productivity projects within our Operations to ensure efficiency improvements and production cost decreases.
- You will design and implement new automation solutions for our production with full responsibility for time and budget.
- You will design and implement new testing solutions for our products with full responsibility for time and budget.
- You are responsible for keeping the existing production equipment running and proactively identify and implement continuous improvement potentials.
- You are the central interface to manage our external partners in realizing your design concepts for automation & testing.
- You are responsible for production planning, scheduling, and capacity management utilizing and optimizing of our ERP & MES system.
- As the responsible Head of ME you will define our standards for LEAN production and automation and ensure that all results are properly described and documented.
- You will act and cooperate as nominated person as an interface to the aviation authorities.
- You will prepare and maintain necessary KPIs and regularly report them to the senior management team.
- You will have opportunities to expand your perspective and enhance your skills by completing additional tasks in close collaboration with the senior management team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- As the ideal candidate, you hold a degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, automotive, industrial) or a comparable qualification.
- Demonstrate expertise in Manufacturing engineering and project management and, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Structured working style and ability to guide and lead others.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, OneNote, and an ERP system.
- As a team player, impress us with your confident demeanor, communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to work independently.
- Utilize your business fluent English and German language skills daily, both written and spoken.
- Possess a ‘hands-on’ mentality with the drive to not only advance projects but also develop professionally beyond this position, including internationally.
